Smart Travel Management is our enhanced travel support service that monitors your flights, sends live updates, and assists with any issues before, during, and after your journey. It is designed to give you peace of mind, reduce stress, and ensure you never miss important travel information again.

Smart Travel includes:

• Real-time flight alerts

• Delay, cancellation & gate-change notifications

• Check-in reminders

• Boarding alerts (where available)

• Luggage guidance

• Itinerary monitoring

• Support if anything goes wrong during your journey

Higher membership tiers receive additional benefits such as upgrade monitoring, compensation handling, or unlimited trip management depending on their plan.

We can monitor your flight and provide general guidance, but full support is only available for flights booked through MAJ Travel Concierge. This is due to airline restrictions and GDPR rules that only give full access to the booking agent.

For complete coverage (e.g., rebooking, refunds, amendments), your flight must be booked by us.

Smart Travel is also available as an add-on for non-members or Silver members who want enhanced monitoring.

If the flight was not booked by us, we will still offer basic guidance, but our support is limited because we cannot access or amend third-party bookings.

We recommend submitting it as soon as you know your travel dates. This ensures we can:

You provide us with your travel details, we present you with options, and upon your approval, you send the funds, and we book your flight right away.

We support bookings worldwide — all airlines and destinations.

Due to GDPR and airline privacy rules, we can only access your full booking information if we are the original booking agent. This allows us to manage your trip, handle changes, track disruptions, and speak to the airline on your behalf. If you book the flight yourself, we may not have the access needed to support you properly.

If you book your flight directly with an airline or another platform, GDPR restrictions may prevent us from amending your booking, contacting the airline, or receiving real-time updates. We can still offer limited support, but full concierge management (including Smart Travel monitoring) may not be possible.

Most airlines will not share passenger information or allow third-party changes unless the booking was made by the same agent. Because of GDPR, we cannot access your ticket, request changes, or represent you with the airline unless we made the booking. Booking through us ensures we can provide full, seamless concierge service.

For GDPR and data-protection reasons, we can only fully manage, track, and support flights that we book ourselves.

When we book the flight, we legally have the authority to access your booking, make changes, manage cancellations, and handle compensation or refunds on your behalf.

We may be able to offer limited support, but full management is not guaranteed because we do not have authorised access to third-party bookings. To provide full Smart Travel protection — including alerts, rebooking support, and compensation — the flight must be booked through us.

We only collect the information required to book your flight safely and legally:

• Passenger full name

• Date of birth (if required by the airline)

• Passport details

• Contact details

All information is stored securely and processed in line with GDPR guidelines. See our GDPR Policy

Your personal information is never shared with third parties except the airline or travel provider involved in your booking.

All data is encrypted, securely stored, and handled strictly according to UK GDPR obligations.

If you already have a flight booked, uploading your details helps us understand your itinerary — but we may still have limited access. For full support, rebooking, upgrades, or compensation handling, MAJ Travel must be the booking agent.
